Winter Fun

Winter is a beautiful season to visit Koronis Ministries! We offer broomball and ice skating rinks on the lake, as well as cross country skiing on our hiking trails, and a tubing hill! 

Winter activities include:

• Tubing Hill – Zip down our new tubing hill beside Hillside, celebrating the snow and winter season with an afternoon of fast outdoor fun! Please plan for a supervising adult to be present while using the hill.
• Ice Rink on the Lake – Enjoy a game of broom hockey (all equipment provided at request) or bring your skates to practice your technique on our natural lake skating rink! Lights allow for night skating, too!
• Ice Fishing – Spend your day relaxing on the lake participating in Minnesota’s unofficial winter pastime. Use our equipment or bring your own. We ask that you have a valid state fishing license and follow all state fishing regulations. Ask Koronis staff for fishing equipment.
• Snowshoeing and Cross-Country Skiing – Bring your skis or snowshoes to enjoy much more of our winter scenery, with acres of wide woodland trails perfect for cross-country skiing.
